In the “sweetest month” called May, we celebrate our Mothers’ day.
You filled my days with rainbow lights,
Fairy-tales and sweet dream nights
A Mother is one who
understands the things
you say and do
You were there when we took our first steps,
And went unsteadily across the floor.
In those days, many years ago,
Electrical appliances weren’t around,
These are now taken for granted,
For everywhere they can be found.
To the one who gave me life
I can give nothing but love
To the star so full of light
to the one sent from up above.
I humbly appraise my mother’s worth,
It began with pain to give me birth,
Which triggered off a love so strong,
Blossoming into a life-long bond.
My mother-in-law, Irene by name Is the leader of her clan. At ninety-three, you surely see Why I became her fan.
She is your first love, your first friend, and nothing on earth can separate you,
I’ve copied you, Mother
My words echo your voice
You’re my shining example
The one of my choice
You can see it in their eyes,
in tender hugs and long good-byes,
a love that only moms and daughters know.
I THINK MY MUM IS AN ALIEN, NO REALLY , HONESTLY, IT’S TRUE,
SHE SAYS SHE HAS EYES IN THE BACK OF HER HEAD,
WELL THAT’S A FLIPPIN’ BIG CLUE.
