How did the story of Jesus start?
In the gospels, the ministry of Jesus starts with his Baptism by John the Baptist. Jesus came to the Jordan River where he was baptized by John the Baptist, after which he fasted for forty days and nights in the Judaean Desert. This early period also includes the first miracle of Jesus in the Marriage at Cana.
When did the term born again begin?
The term began to be used in the 1960s to give a specific name to those who renewed their faith. The earliest printed reference I can find to ‘born again’ in this sense is from the Reno Evening Gazette, October 1914: “It [Christian Science] gives man the opportunity of being born again.”
How did God create Jesus?
God raised Jesus from the dead and made him a divine being. … And so there developed traditions about Jesus being born of a virgin. And so in our Gospels written after Mark, Matthew and Luke, Jesus’ mother is virgin so that he’s the son of God from his birth.
