Let’s take a moment in quiet contemplation to listen to our hearts (5 minutes exercise)

Dear friends:

Whatever your religious background, or spiritual believes, whatever your concept of God or Higher Power is, I invite you to take a few moments today to turn within.

Please turn off your phones and technologies for 5 minutes. Make sure you won’t be disturbed or distracted.

Take a few deep breaths and think of all the things that are bottling up in your hearts. Your fears, your concerns, your worries, your sorrows, your anxiety, your pain, bring it all out of your chest right now. Say it aloud, whatever is bothering you, upsetting you, or taking away your peace and calm, say it now aloud, or if you don’t have privacy, say it in your mind. Bring it all out. Tell your heart what is hurting you, or worrying you right now.

Now gently, take a few deep breaths focusing on the warm air going in through your nostrils, gently in and out like the waves of the ocean, rhythmically swaying, peacefully centering you, and start to go within your heart, knowing that all your concerns are always being heard.

Now play this music and close your eyes, and begin to listen to the voice within, stay in silence in your heart while the music plays, and feel the infinite Love that surrounds you, feel the embrace of the Divine Love.

Peace be with you.
