A quote from Richard Rohr on aboriginal wisdom and our interconectedness

“Karl Jaspers calls the primal connection that the first people had with the universe Pre-Axial Consciousness. David Suzuki finds this Pre-Axial Consciousness among aboriginal people today as well. “Aboriginal people do not believe they end at their skin or fingertips. The earth as mother is real to them, and their history, culture and purpose are embodied in the land. The aboriginal sense of the interconnection of everything in the world is also readily demonstrable and irrefutable scientifically.”

Indeed, the new quantum physics reveals, as Ilia Delio says, that “matter is not composed of basic building blocks but complicated webs of relations… . Interconnectedness lies at the core of all that exists.” Interbeing should make total sense to you if you are a Trinitarian Christian…”

Truth, we are all interconnected. What we do to ourselves affects one another. It’s so vital that we love ourselves in turn love on another🥰

  2. Words of Wisdom and I completely agree with the beautiful and awesome words of Richard. We are all interconnected and are all ONE. There is ONENESS in the MANYNESS and the concept of UBUNTU is so true. We all are because of each and everyone in this Universe. Awesome post, Amira.

    1. Thank you so much dear Kamal! So true, the concept of Ubuntu demonstrates great wisdom, even the little children knew “how can one of us be happy if the rest is sad”. At a difference from the “competitive mentality of the “me, me” , the Ubuntu concept is a concept of Unity, contributionism, oneness, and “us-us”. If we just kept that in mind, our world would be so different! 🙂

      1. Yes for sure and if we all kept this wonderful concept of unity our world would be a great place for us to live. There would be no wars or destruction at all. Let’s hope we see all this from their perspective. Welcome dear Amira❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
