Very profound poem! The true meaning of our existence, which we have all seem to have forgotten while we are distracted chasing dreams which are programs imprinted in our egos… never satisfied wanting more… while th answer is always there…”the key lies within”

We are gifted life, then born
Innocent, we imitate and learn to belong
We grow and evolve, with desires and emotions
Creating experiences, defining the self
Like beautiful flowers, we unfold
Some early other are late bloomers
We then struggle to exist and forget
Passive, we only see the truth when itβs a bit too late if at all we do
Trapped in a rat race, slaves to capitalism.
Blinded by comforts, harboring greed and doubts
We rush against time, forgetting to live
Obsess on accumulating material wealth, ignoring the inexhaustible within
Like we did when young, we continue to imitate
Creating false identities separating us from ourselves, persona
Ignorant of infinity soul, we struggle to leave a legacy
If only we knew that we are remembered, by the emotions we created

Great poem, dear Amira π
Indeed we are slaves of our ego and mind, it dictates us where to have our attention and distracts us from us in thousands of wishes. The greatest fear of the ego is to lose ego…
Thanks for sharing, my dear friend and have a sunny weekend, inside and outside π
In oneness

Fantastic and profound poem, Amira. I read a beautiful quote but now have forgotten who has written it that we all have come the one door of consciousness but in our journey have forgotten the key. The day we realize after eons that we are conscious divinity we will open the door with the same key of consciousness and merge with the Oversoul.

Thank you so much dear Kamal for such a beautiful quote! I love it! If you ever find out the author please let me know, I would love to add it as a quote, it’s so profound! It explains exactly in the state we find ourselves lost, even though the key is readily available to us! β€

Yes Amira the key is all the time with us but because of our impressions we who are always conscious have become unconscious and in return are trying to find our door. I don’t know where I read it was it Rumi, or Hafiz but if I come across will definitely let you know. You are always welcome dear ππππππππππ
