Taking a minute to consider our actions and its consequences which echo into infinity… let us consider the violence of hell on earth for millions of innocent animals enslaved in horrible lives and terrible deaths, the product of factory farming, profit and greed with disregard for life…

We don’t like to think about it very much. We are pretty good at avoiding thinking about the lives and deaths of the animals that we eat or use for food. It is indeed a difficult subject to contemplate, and yet it is an absolute, inescapable fact due to our choice to use animals, on a grand scale, for food.
Maybe we have seen the large trucks rumbling down the highway, and perhaps noticed the eyes and snouts of the animals packed inside. They are on their way to the slaughterhouse, but we probably never get that far in our thoughts. We just notice a truck full of pigs, never processing what that ride must be like for those beings, or exactly where it is they are headed.
As the trucks arrive at the slaughterhouse, it sometimes happens that there is a group…

I know… I am pretty shaken up… I have been watching the news related to this. I pray her death was not in vain… and somehow it raises awareness to her cause. ❤

I agree… It seems that these times we are living in, are really calling our attention to SEE, and sometimes in drastic ways, shaking us up… and hopefully waking us up…

..Yes, Nancy! I have always tried to have an inspirational blog, focusing on the positive, and it’s a balancing act… however, we can no longer close our eyes, I think it’s time to wake up, and i pray her death was not in vain, and it has forced us to look at an area in which not many want to look because it’s horrific and it’s painful, and it’s real. We are so disconnected with our food, our actions and our thoughts… we really need to start “integrating them” and realizing our interconectedness. For directly or indirectly we are all responsible for what is happening to the animals, to the environment, to humanity and to the world. Thank you for writing this post! 🙏 🙏 🙏 ❤ ❤ ❤

You do have a wonderful, inspirational blog, and I am grateful for it! The thing is, if we can change how we act toward the animals, the environment, we will flourish in so many positive ways! It’s just tough for people to see and to think about, and very hard to change our ways. Change does happen, though!🌷

Thank you Nancy, I appreciate your comment and needed to hear that…you are right change does happen.. even if we get impatient and it seems so slow, we do see a raise in consciousness, and more awareness. From the higher perspective it was just yesterday, when in 1920 women were granted the right to vote. Since then, little by little humanity is embracing our sense of equality among people, and interconectedness with al sentient beings and the environment. ❤

So true. Admittedly, there is quite a sense of urgency now, so baby steps feel a little stressful. But we do what we can do! You, my friend, do a lot!! 💖
