There Is Nothing Permanent Except Change

Quote Title: Heraclitus

Change is an inherent part of life
We are here to experience and grow
There is nothing permanent except change
Is a Higher Truth many don’t know

All physical life begins and ends
We’re temporarily here to be
Accepting this simple truth
Brings perspective and clarity

Time to share, it’s length unknown
In the NOW is the way to live
Five minutes or one hundred years
Your Loving presence, always give

A baby’s growth and change
Is easy to accept and see
Becoming a toddler and child
Change noticed even daily

Adolescence then an adult
So much changes each year
Shaped by those around them
Their self-identity becoming clear

Out into the world they go
To live their own life
Parents hoping they will
Weather the storms of strife

Each day brings new experience
All interactions are a part
Shaped by their own perceptions
Is how they make a start

************************

We live in an ocean of Energy
Surrounded, it is everywhere
We attract by how we feel
So be mindful in what you share

The ocean is forever in motion
Even floating, the sea will change
To be the Captain of your ship
Inner-discernment you must arrange

You don’t only feed your body
But your mind and spirit too
So give some life-changing thought
To those non-physical diets too

All you read and watch
Can change who you will be
And what you listen to
All these move you in your sea

Who do you spend your time with
On Social Media and physically?
Do you get positive or negative vibes?
Up or down, how do you want to be?

Even the slightest thing
Can make a mark indelibly
And set a new course of change
Do you want a calm, or rough sea?

There Is Nothing Permanent in life
All things will come and go
But you can choose your journey
By changing your direction of flow

Thank you for sharing Amira. I had wondered why the timing never came to post this one earlier than I did. But the words, especially in the second part, are so very relevant now. I’ve also noticed how I’ve drifted in my sea lately, so thank you for the timely reminder today!

    1. Yes, this poem is perfect for our times…It’s really amazing that you wrote it last year! No worries, we all “drift” at times, the important thing is that we are aware and can re-set the course. LOL Much love, light and radiant health to you as well! ❤

Thank you Linda for your lovely, encouraging words. It is always great to hear that anyone likes or loves one of my poems, but it means so much more to know that you perceive my words as ‘a wonderful gift from God,’ as this is how I feel too. Bringing God’s Love and Light into our world – especially at this unsettling time – is so vital, as I know you know!

Sorry it has taken me so long to reply, I have got very behind with checking my emails.
Much Love, Light & Blessings of Radiant Health & Joy to you and all your loved ones. ❤
