Spirituality from Daily Word: “Reflection” (Espiritualidad de la palabra Diaria: “Reflexionar”)

Reflection

I am a glorious reflection of the Divine within me.

The moon reflecting across a still lake is a beautiful, tranquil sight as the brightness of the moon illuminates the water below.

When I look in a mirror, I see an image of my body, but I know there is more to me than what I see in the mirror. As I look within and explore my mind and the depths of my being, I discover another image, that of my spiritual nature. This image is a reflection of God, an expression of light, life, love, and power. Further exploring this Truth, I see myself as wise, whole, loving, peaceful, and fully capable.

I relish the Truth that I am a divine being, able to do all things through the infinite qualities within myself. I know that my reflection of my inner being grows continually brighter and more beautiful as I let my light shine.

He is the reflection of God’s glory and the exact imprint of God’s very being.—Hebrews 1:3

Reflexionar

  2. Thanks, dear Amira for sharing 🙂

The problem is that we think we are the doers, that we can do something – but isn’t it the ocean that moves the waves while the waves think they are moving. If we really would be the doers that we can do something, then there would be Two doers: God and we – but the drop is not separated from the Ocean – and as everything belongs to God, all is in God – nothing exists outside Him – when we say we do something, then it is our ego and mind that says so (it puts itself in the middle point – instead of putting God in the middle point first of all). This is Oneness under the One – but when the mind say: I am doing, I am creating – this separates us from Him and leaves us not in Oneness but in saparation. If we only could see the strings of the puppet-player – we would see that we are the marionets.

Thank you for coming up with this sharing, dear Amira as it contains also difficult subject to understand.

  3. Thank you so much for your valuable perception dear friend. As you so well said everything stems from the One in this dimension we see the multiplicity and yet in each is the Divine One expressing.
