Understanding
I am illumined by the light of spiritual understanding.
In today’s fast-paced world, I can collect a great many facts at the click of a button. But even as I gain intellectual knowledge, I may feel something is missing. I have a desire for spiritual understanding, which can only be found within.
As I open my heart in prayer, I am refreshed, renewed, and rekindled by the light that burns brightly within me. H. Emilie Cady wrote in her master work, Lessons in Truth, “You will no longer dwell in darkness, for the light will be within your own heart. This is spiritual understanding.”
There is so much more to me than I had previously been aware. This moment of contemplation has helped me understand, and I am grateful.

Comprensión
Yo soy iluminado por la luz de la comprensión espiritual.
En el mundo acelerado de hoy, puedo recabar muchos datos con solo pulsar un botón. Pero aunque adquiera conocimiento intelectual, puede que sienta que falta algo. Tengo el deseo de comprensión espiritual, el cual sólo puede ser encontrado en lo interno.
Al abrir mi corazón en oración, soy refrescado, renovado y reavivado por la luz que resplandece en mí. Emilie Cady escribió en su obra maestra, Lecciones acerca de la Verdad: “Ya no morarás en las tinieblas, porque la luz estará en tu propio corazón. Esto es comprensión espiritual.”
Hay mucho más de mí de lo que antes creía. Este momento de contemplación me ha ayudado a comprenderlo, y siento gratitud.
