“Remembering”

Sitting in the Sanctuary
of Silence,
the deep space of
Formlessness
keeps pulling me in,
enticing me to
remember,

to
listen

In this space of Pure Awareness,
beyond thought,
I can feel the intimacy of Silence
once again;
The organic Rhythm,
immersed in its Quiet Flow…
Out of which all movement arises
and takes form…

Formlessness-Form
Form-Formlessness,
Not two – yet not one;
not either/or
but
both/and

The Ineffable Mystery

I sometimes call it “The Beloved”,
sometimes now “The Unmanifest.”

It has many names –
this Aware Silence,
this Hush of the Mystery
that we are,
that we emerged from,
Life ItSelf;
and is no-name as well…

The Unknown…

In this Sea of Silence
I remember the feel of
Its Rhythm;
the transparency and
boundarylessness
of its endless S p a c i o u s n e s s

that Just IS…

The Mystery of Life living ItSelf
in/as
the vast
and
rhythmic
pulse of Living Silence…

recognizing ItSelf as “me”,
and “me” recognizing It
as my
Self

I had forgotten
this Sacred Silence
that knows us intimately
as ItSelf…

Our pain, sorrow, grief;
our laughter and joy,
are inexplicably
ITs own

Inseparable

It knows our shadow
and embraces
all darkness
as ITs own –
because
IT is –
ITs own

Light…

that knows
no darkness

The grief, the loss,
the sadness, the suffering,
the woundings…

ALL ITs own;

feeling what we feel,
experiencing what we experience
as ItSelf…

Ever-present
Ever-aware
Ever-open
to all experience

Not a cold, conceptual
hollow vacuum of Nothingness…

But the V a s t n e s s of Life ItSelf,
intimately living ItSelf…

OM-ing pre-Existence into Existence…
Breathing ItSelf into Life –
into every wound of pain
and suffering
with ITs soft caress…

Aware Living Silence

knows our Hearts

as ITs own,
and dances with
Joy
in
the
delight
of
knowing
it

.

.

.

I had forgotten THIS…
The feel of this deep intimacy
in ITs complete and utter Embrace;
Its total enfoldment;
Its inclusiveness
of all that we are;
forgotten the once known
innocence of
being touched
by the
Vastness
and
Depth
of

Silence

  2. I feel home with these words as we have opposites everywhere we have a look at and even our look and observing is belongs to a form of opposites, a breach between here and now, between life and death, between day and night, form and formless, thoughts and thoughtlessness – because in reality we are already ONE – we are not we but we are HIM, He who is, who was, who has been always and will be always, we are the drop of the Ocean and nevertheless we are part of Him, not part of us – together we are Him, beyond space and time – when all is One, there are no opposites any longer – it is something beyond duality and everything is living beyond life and death, is a being beyond being which has no words… no form, which is beyond all and nothing…

    Thanks for sharing, my dear friend Amira – a great text indeed.
    Love and light to you

    1. Thank you dear Didi for your profound explanation of a concept which is so difficult to express with words sometimes…but you have been so eloquent in that understanding of what Oneness means.
      Sometimes I think of the ying and yang symbol, which represents duality, and in each side there is a dot or a drop that is part of that duality, but yet both the ying and the yang are both enclosed inside an infinite circle, that is beyond all duality, beyond all definition, beyond opposites and beyond movement, as you said formless and yet from it form comes forward, Encompassing all within…pure Oneness!
      I love having these conversations dear friend to deepen our understanding…
      In Oneness,
      Amira

      1. Welcome, my dear friend Amira 🙂

        Indeed, it is not easy to think beyond duality and to see all as One – in this connection once I wrote: “We all play one role, the role of the One…” – in such a “closed oneness” there are no questions, no answers, no death, no life, no opposites, no time, no space – everything is one resting in itself. Perhaps that what observes this in us – is already “one” – means: we observe the observer in us… means the “whole” observes the breach in the being where are always two sides, cut by the sword of duality. Then this what we “see” is just illusion as all is already ONE – our mind itself with its senses must be a kind of illusion, maya as the real reality is ONE.

        Thank you very much for going deeper into this matter, dear friend 🙂

        1. This is very profound dear Didi! Is so true, sometimes is hard to understand something when we try to grasp it with our minds, as we are most of the time in a state of duality, with some very especial exceptions when we can feel that absolute Oneness, and then all questions melt, and all worries dissipate in that infinite loving embrace…
          Thank you dear friend for your profound wisdom!
          Much love and light!
          From heart to heart,
          Amira
