“The gift from the sky”
In Nature’s solitude
Observing the twilight aperture
As the first stars begin to light up the sky
The tree swallows fly
To catch up their evening meal by the lake
And soon they are joined by the bats
In their frantic zig-zag
Catching the invisible bugs
Suddenly, behind the mountains,
A huge glowing sphere,
Begins to make its appearance.
In stillness, we lose the sense of time…
In awe we see
The full moon rise
In all its majestic beauty,
And deep from the heart
We whisper a silent sigh…
We are hypnotized,
And afraid to break
The magic spell
As the moonlight reflects on the lake,
In gratitude we accept
This glorious gift from the sky!
Amira
Amira

Yes, I thought so, dear Amria and really beautiful. Nature was the trigger for me to become a poet. I was 20 years old and was in Finland in the middle of the nature between two beautiful lakes. there was a highstand to watch animals, so I climed on it and when I was on top of it, I had such a lovely panorama view, with words not to describe. then i wrote my first poem there.
Thanks for sharing it, my dear friend 🙂
Have a great time at the camp site 🙂

Dear Amira, sorry, this first poem of mine is not online and I am not sure, if I still have it: all my old poems are kept in a big folder and it is likely that the very first poems are no longer existing as many poems that I wrote, in the beginning, I self-critically have sorted out – many were not good. I may have a look in this folder and let you know. Thanks for your interest, my dear friend 🙂

That’s ok dear Didi. I did not want to put you through the trouble to search for it, The important thing is that that poem opened the doors for your expression in a creative and unique way, as all your poems are so very special. And for you as well dear friend wishing you all that is good for you. I like that very much! Amira

Yes, indeed, my dear friend – thank you very much, dear Ameria 🙂 – I think poems are some kind of expressions of the soul, of something very deep that is living inside us to see the world with the inner eye.
In thankfulness and Oneness
