I always enjoyed Ella Wheeler Wilcox’s poems! Thank you dear Didi!
God and I in space alone
and nobody else in view.
“And where are the people, O Lord,” I said,
“the earth below and the sky o’er head
and the dead whom once I knew?”
“That was a dream,” God smiled and said,
“A dream that seemed to be true.
There were no people, living or dead,
there was no earth, and no sky o’er head;
there was only Myself — in you.”
“Why do I feel no fear,” I asked,
“meeting You here this way?
For I have sinned I know full well–
and is there heaven, and is there hell,
and is this the Judgment Day?”
“Nay, those were but dreams,”
the Great God said,
“Dreams that have ceased to be.
There are no such things as fear or sin;
there is no you — you never have been–
there is nothing at all
but Me.”

“there was only Myself — in you.” this is the ultimate truth…see our soul comes from the supreme soul according to our Hindu religion …everyone has a Buddha nature in them but we forget that in this materialistic world..

So true dear friend, we all forget that we are all ONE, while we dream a dream that seems so real… Maya… all an illusion…Thank you for your wise insights and comments! 🙂 In Oneness, Namaste ❤

🙂 I did the same yesterday!!! and was going to email you a link soon. You might have already found it but just incase: http://www.ellawheelerwilcox.org/pindex.htm – only 1,996 poems to go through! 🙂
I read a few and these I thought were really good: 82 – As You Go Through Life, 146 – Beauty (The Search For Beauty Is The Search For God), 293 – Creation, 540 – Go Plant A Tree, 746 – The Invisible Helpers, and 975 – The Message
I’m sure you’ll love ‘The Message’ – Ella Wheeler Wilcox was most definitely a ‘LightWorker!’ ❤
