POEMS: “In This Dream of Manifest Existence”

In This Dream of Manifest Existence

In the Ecstasy of Your Embrace, duality Vanishes,
For there is no space in which objects might appear,
No duration of time, in which they might be perceived,
And Vanished, as well, the subject perceiver.

Neither Thou nor I exist, and yet… I Am.

But here… in this Dream of manifest existence,
You are the space within which the world and I appear,
For all that I am, all that I know, arises within You,
Knower, known, knowing; all movements of Your breath.

Here… in this Dream of manifest existence,
You are the River of Time, within which Creation flows,
For birth, growth, maturation, decay, and death,
Like clouds, appear and vanish within You.

Here… in this Dream of manifest existence,
You are all that Appears within space and time,
This Vehicle of Perception, and all that is perceived,
Perceiver, perceived, perceiving; Your heartbeat.

Here… in this Dream of manifest existence,
You are the Longing which moved my Weary Heart,
An Ancient Memory, crying from the depths of my Soul,
For a Love once Known, then… somehow… forgotten.

Here… in this Dream of manifest existence,
You are the Unimaginable Fulfillment of that Longing,
The Answer to every prayer ever uttered, in all of Creation,
That Ancient Love once Known… Known again.

You are the choreographer of this dance of dualities,
The playwright of this Mystery of Longing and Fulfillment,
The Radiant Unmanifest, Illumining the manifest stage,
Shining in our Deepest Interiority, Behind… Before… As…

This Dream of manifest existence.
