POEMS: “Turning into”… by Didi (re-blogged)

How beautifully said dear Didi: “This is how a stone is transformed
Into a heart… into humanity”

https://didisvgp.wordpress.com/2018/12/31/turning-into/

When someone talks badly about you
Talk nicely about him

When someone thinks badly of you
Think well of him

If someone accuses you of making mistakes.
Emphasize his good qualities

If someone hates you
Embrace him with love

When someone criticizes you
Praise him

When someone is angry with you
Show compassion

When someone appears to be your enemy,
Treat him like a friend

If someone hurts you
Have gratitude

This is how a stone is transformed
Into a heart… into humanity…

Our inner anchor should be:
Peace, balance, love, humility
Compassion, kindness, non-violence – ONENESS

Sometimes we look into the water to see our own face… 🙂
Have a great time my friend 🙂

    1. Dear Didi, I always appreciate your comments so much! Would you expand a little more on this idea about looking in the water to see our own reflection? Take care dear friend! ❤

      1. Yes, dear Amira: When the wind is blowing, we face a troubled sea or lake, then we cannot see our own face in it, but when our heart becomes pure, a turning from the stone to a heart, to become human (a turning from a troubled sea to a calm sea), then we see out own face in the water, we see who we are… and what we are not…
        From heart to heart

        1. h dear friend, this is beautiful! I really like it! It reminds me of a zen story called “the well” which I posted a while back: https://amiracarluccio.com/2018/12/20/zen-stories-with-a-lesson-the-well-about-silence-and-meditation/
and also the transformation of the stone into a heart, it’s so meaningful to me…even in our own short lives we can see how life’s experiences start to transform us, to help us grow, to be more understanding of others, little by little our rocks get molded & polished, slowly we become more compassionate, less selfish, …and Love blossoms in our hearts… 🙂
