“It’s coming up to Christmas”
It’s coming up to Christmas,
we have been blessed with the things we need…
I’d like to set a challenge,
for us all to do a good deed…
Donate a toy to charity,
some “pet food” to the pound,
some clothing to a charity store,
there are so many to be found…
There are many things that we can do,
at this special time of year,
to reach out to others,
and just show them that we care.
Don’t think it won’t make a difference,
whether your act is big or small,
It will bring such joy to someone,
There is a “Santa” in us all…

Love the cutie baby pics Linda.
Homelessness lies close to my heart and yesterday when temperatures in u.k plumetted to 3 degrees centigrade I met a new guy to me sitting in a shop doorway. I stopped & we chatted after introductions. My first instinct was to delve into my shopping bag for food. The only cooked item was a small Christmas cake which I gave to him with money to get a hot drink. I checked re outstanding warm clothing & someone from Shelter was sorting something for him.
The local homeless hostel is apparently nicknamed ‘Heartbreak Hotel’ where ‘all the druggies go’.

Oh thank you so much dear Margaret for your visit and kind comments! That is so sweet, you have a heart of gold! We don’t know what circumstances in life led them to this ” heart breaking” point, but sometimes kindness & understanding from others can bring hope in their lives, and there is always hope that their lives may turn around. Have a blessed Christmas filled with love, joy and peace. ❤ Amira

I am so happy that you Amira and your friends on your blog said “Merry Christmas” Jesus is the reason for the season! Let’s celebrate by showing the love and compassion of our Lord by reaching out to the most vulnerable this year! May God richly bless you this Christmas with His unfailing Love! Lindaxoxox

Hi Linda! That is so true! Whenever we see someone sleeping in a park, or the streets, we reach out to them and offered them money for a hot drink & something to eat. Before we struggled a little thinking about whether they would spend it on drugs instead of food, but now we are clear that it does not matter really. What matters is compassion and a helping hand whenever possible. You too have a blessed Christmas filled with love, joy and peace! ❤
