We all have dreams and goals of the things that we would like to accomplish in our lives…building a successful business, establishing an effective career, having a positive, worthwhile job, the list can go on and on. The real question is HOW we go about attaining of life-long goals. How do we treat our family and friends? How much time and effort do we dedicate to achieving the material things in life like a nice house, fancy cars, good-looking clothes, lots of money, etc.?

Where is your heart? Your focus? Your priorities?

  1. Thanks, dear Amira 🙂

Yes, to live in this world but to live in such a way that we know: it is not our world – then we can let go things, then we can detach from everything – as nothing (material matters) we can take with us when the sun sets and the waves destroy our castles made of sand.

Thanks for sharing, my friend 🙂
    Have a nice week

    1. So true dear Didi! As Buddha taught non-attachment and the principle of impermanence, which could prevent us from so much suffering… as you wisely said “we cannot take it with us”. Definitely not the material things are the ones that matter…:)
You too dear friend, had a nice week! Amira

      1. Thank you, dear friend Amira 🙂
When we would have the same passion that attaches us to things and persons and animals, the same passion towards God – we would have already reached our goal…

So when we look in our own life, we will find hundreds of things where we are attched to. When our love towards God is in the same ruling passion as we all have experienced when falling in love with someone, where we see this person everywhere we go, where this person has our fully attention and thoughts of love – then we really devlop love for everyone as God is the living temple in the body of man. And really: when loving God first – everyone is included in this love, even ourselves.

Thank you, my dear friend 🙂
        From heart to heart
