The reality of our lives is that we live in an imperfect world. The existence of evil, temptations, and suffering is persistently luring around us. All these darkness, toxicity, and hatred around us. We are all constantly bombarded with; politics, greed, wrath, wars, crimes, celebrity gossips, beauty standards, social comparisons, meaningless issues, discrimination, etc. Temptations of drugs, alcohol, lust, hookup culture, provocative films, pornography, explicit and filthy music, etc.

On the journey of our lives, adversity is inevitable. Everyone has a story, and everyone has gone through hardships in life. Its main purpose is to build up the strength of our character, for our growth, but not for us to become hard, and bitter. Always be vigilant! Thanks for sharing these thoughts and words, dear Amira – and we are surrounded by those evil things, not because they are outside from us, but because they are inside us – polluting the outside-world – we are a battlefield of good and evil in our own mind – a wild horse that is hard to get tamed. However, once we start with good things, with good thoughts, good words and deeds – in doing so regularly they become good habits and may turn a mind into sunshine.

As you said, we need to cultivate the garden of our minds with good seeds of love and deeds, and weed it often to remove distorted thoughts.
