LESSONS FROM NATURE HAIKU POEM: “Confrontation”(“Confrontación”)

Angry waves crash against

The proud rock that confronts them,

While it erodes into sand…

Be like calm shores,

Where waves gently arrive,

And slowly dissipate…

Olas enojadas se estrellan …

contra la roca orgullosa que se enfrenta,

mientras se erosiona en arena…

Sé como las costas pacíficas,

Donde las olas llegan suavemente,

Y lentamente se disipan …

Wonderful words of wisdom Amira, there are so many lessons we can learn from nature – and it’s an abundant source for our poems too! 🙂 >3

    1. Thank you dear Kamal! Yes, I agree. We should cultivate an attitude of calmness and serenity, rather than crashing through things, instead we can slow down, and let the emotional turbulence dissipate before acting…Keeping this image in mind might help us next time we are “confronted” or triggered.
I always appreciate your reflections dear friend 🙂
