HAIKU POEMS: “Hawaiian music” (“Música hawaiana”) This poem is dedicated in memory of my mother in law

“Hawaiian music”

Hawaiian music plays,

The dancers sway,

Like Haole-Hula waves!

“Música hawaiana”

Música hawaiana,

Las bailarinas se ondulean ,

¡Como las olas de Haole-Hula!

This poem is dedicated in memory of my mother in law Marguerite, who I never had the chance to meet, but I know she loved to play Hawaiian guitar.

Este poema está dedicado en memoria de mi suegra Marguerite, a quien nunca tuve la oportunidad de conocer, pero sé que le encantaba tocar la guitarra Hawaiana.

How lovely that your mother-in-law played Hawaiian guitar! What a shame that you never got to meet her. Had she been to Hawaii? My mother loved everything about Hawaii and tropical islands. I grew up hearing Hawaiian music often being played in the house! 😊. She had such an affinity for this place and culture, that I am certain she had a past life experience there! ❤️
