Day 3

A big thank you to Manuela for nominating me for The Three-Day Lyrical Challenge. Please visit her wonderful blog about spirituality, astrology, inspiration, angels, and so much more! If you have not seen Manuela’s blog, I invite you to do so at: https://inaloveworld.wordpress.com

The rules are simple:

  1. Thank the person who nominated you.

  2. Share one of your favorite song/lyrics one at a time for three days.

  3. Nominate three other bloggers each day.

My nominees are:

Anyone who wishes to participate in this challenge, I will open it up to everyone, so you can let me know of your interest and I will add you here to the list!

Thank you and I hope  you all enjoy this new challenge 🙂

My choice for today’s song and lyrics is:

“The Songs Of Night” (a mother’s lullaby to her baby)

This one of the most soothing and hauntingly beautiful lullabies ever sung. Group: Secret Garden. Album: “Earthsongs”. Vocalist: Fionnuala Gill.

“Lay down your head and I’ll sing you a lullaby

Back to the years of loo-li lai-lay

And I’ll sing you to sleep and I’ll sing you tomorrow

Bless you with love for the road that you go

May you sail far to the far fields of fortune

With diamonds and pearls at your head and your feet

And may you need never to banish misfortune

May you find kindness in all that you meet

May there always be angels to watch over you

To guide you each step of the way

To guard you and keep you safe from all harm Loo-li, loo-li, lai-lay

May you bring love and may you bring happiness

Be loved in return to the end of your days

Now fall off to sleep, I’m not meaning to keep you

I’ll just sit for a while and sing loo-li, lai-lay

May there always be angels to watch over you

To guide you each step of the way

To guard you and keep you safe from all harm

Loo-li, loo-li, lai-lay, loo-li, loo-li, lai-lay…”

So many synchronicities today!… So many things happened since last night and today which are bringing my attention to “Angels” and your comment just sent a clear “click” to pay attention… I woke up today and started writing a poem called”On the wings of Angels” Then I turned on the TV and watched a program on angels!!!! Wow!

Sending light and love back to you, Amira! ❤ Don't you just love those synchronicities!! 🙂 It's funny, because yesterday, before I sent my last song, I saw a You Tube video pop up called "Angel"! Here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cwf-XZ74CwI
