INSPIRATIONAL STORIES: “THE TRAIN OF LIFE” (re-blogged from one of my first posts in may 2016)

A few years ago I received an email from a friend with this story, the author is unknown.

I found this story to be very inspirational as I travel through the different stages of my life, meeting new friends, reconnecting with old ones in the same train after so many years… saying goodbyes to those who are leaving us, sharing our dreams, hopes, sorrows and laughter in precious moments or for the long journey. The essence of this reflection on life  is what did we learn from our companions in this journey? How much did we love, give, forgive, cared and shared? What memories do we live behind?

  1. Our journey of life is just like a train ride and it is so beautifully and truly written that every word has wisdom and truth in this story. So many people we come across and as we get familiar we have to leave them either our dear ones or strangers that we come across. Thanks for the awesome share, Amira.

    1. Thank you so much dear Kamal! Yes, the imagery of the train resonates very much with the journey we are all taking together… sometimes we share a long ride, others a very brief one, good byes, hellos, new friends arrive, others go…what we share, and our memories always remain 🙂
