This may seem self-evident, but more often than not we don’t allow ourselves to accept what we really love because it is outside the norm of what our programming says we ‘should’ be doing. It is a complex inner struggle between what has always been and what has yet to be. It feels self-indulgent or selfish. Thank you for sharing Amira, it’s one of the quotes that has influenced my journey. There are so many wonderful Rumi quotes, I had never heard of Rumi before I began my quote site! I think it’s amazing that his words are so relevant today but were written so long ago!
