Solitude
Solitude is not a sad state of mind
but a glorious gift from God.
Not lonely or detached
but connected and joyful.
A time to reflect, a visit with self
A time to listen, a time with God
advice from a warm, loving Friend.
A time to give Thanks for glorious gifts.
Yourself, you Spirit, unique in the world
will celebrate with joy each day.
Solitude is surely not lonely or sad
but a wonderful state of mind.

I love this, Amira! It certainly mirrors the feelings of introverts, who are never lonely when in solitude! For us, it is a joyful place!

I agree! It’s a time when we can fully re-charge our inner selves and bask in serenity. This is also a time when we gain our most clear understanding.

I so agree with you both! I love my times of solitude, if I don’t have it I feel out of wack!
