I have been nominated to participate in the 3 Day quote challenge:

Rules for the Challenge:

1.) Thank the person who nominated you.
2.) Post a quote for three consecutive days (1 quote for each day).
3.) Share why this quote appeals so much to you.
4.) Nominate 3 different bloggers for each day.

I was nominated by Didi, who shares a spiritual oasis of inspiration and who creates the most amazing digital art in his blog:

Thank you dear Didi for sharing your spiritual light through your beautiful blog!

“A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feeling as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.”

Albert Einstein

This quote appeals to me because it resonates with the spiritual concept of Oneness. All the beautiful life that exists in the Universe derives from One Source, therefore, when we see others, our human brothers and sisters, we must see in them the Light from the One Source we all share… when we see the beauty of Mother Nature, hear the birds’ songs, the ocean waves, the sound of raindrops gently nourishing the land… when we see flowers blooming, butterflies opening their marvelous wings, puppies or kittens playing, giant trees soothing us with their sweet shade and beauty… we feel such a deep connection, a strong sense of belonging, and a profound love takes root in our hearts. There is only Love…That love, inspires us to treat others with kindness and compassion, to care for our Mother earth, and to protect all the magnificent animals that  share our planet.

Everything else, all misunderstandings, wars, hatred and prejudices, stem from a delusion of separateness, which derives from the EGO. This knowledge, inspire us to try:

Each day strive to “Let go of the Ego” and seek to become more aware of the Oneness, the pure & infinite Love of the One Source we all share and in which we all thrive.

  1. Dear Amira,

I am with you – this quote by Einstein really refers to the Oneness, the Ocean of all consciousness in which all are a drop of it. This feeling of being, existing exits in all of us and it comes from the same source what connects us all. As long our I or ego is there, we are not really united but see and recognize everything separated with the ourward going senses of our mind/ego/intellect. However, when He unfolds in us that our I and ego vanishes, like an empty vessel, then He can take a seat in us, then we are really one, merged: water in water, light in light.

Thank you so much for your participation and having chosen such a beautiful quote 🙂

    My best wishes to you
