Mantra for a challenging day: (substitute “sorrow” for any other feeling you are experiencing).

Breathe slowly and gently and repeat this mantra 3 times:

“Breathing in, I am aware of sorrow  within.

Breathing out, I am NOT the sorrow.  I am the awareness of the sorrow.”

-Thich Nhat Hanh
